Fire alarm FAQ
Can you take over monitoring of an existing fire alarm?
Often, yes. We check the panel and communicator on site. Some older panels or dealer-locked panels need a new communicator or panel, and we tell you before any work starts.
Do I still need phone lines for fire monitoring?
Usually not. Code-compliant cellular communicators can replace the two phone lines older systems used, which lowers monthly costs.
Do you install sprinkler systems?
No. We install and monitor the fire alarm, including sprinkler flow and tamper monitoring. Sprinkler piping is done by a licensed sprinkler contractor, and we coordinate with them.
Do you do fire alarm inspections?
