What the numbers mean

A security plan built for Wake Forest

Larceny and theft make up most reported property crime in Wake Forest, so the plan starts with the easy targets: cars, porches and garages.

Doors, windows and the garage

Wake Forest Police Department recorded 58 burglaries in 2024. Sensors on every exterior door, the garage door and ground-floor windows, plus glass-break detectors, sound the alarm before anyone gets far.

Driveway, porch and cars

Larceny and theft made up 85% of reported property crime in Wake Forest in 2024. 47 vehicle thefts were reported in 2024. A video doorbell and a driveway camera show who walks up, send an alert to your phone, and keep the recording.
