Secur-Tek, Inc. ("Secur-Tek", "we", "us") is a security and low-voltage company at 809B Center Street, Apex, NC 27502. This policy covers mysecurtek.com and the ways we communicate with you, including text messages.
Information we collect
- What you give us. Your name, phone number, email, address or ZIP code, and details about your home or business and the services you ask about, when you fill out a form, use our price estimator, call, text, chat or email us.
- How you found us. The page you came from and campaign details, such as a Google ad or a referral link.
- Basic website data. Pages visited, device and browser type, and general location, collected by cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To answer your request, schedule visits, and prepare proposals.
- To install, monitor and service systems for customers.
- To send the messages you agreed to, such as appointment reminders and service updates.
- To improve our website and services, and to meet legal duties.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the text message box on one of our forms, or text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Secur-Tek, Inc. at the number you gave. We text about your request, quotes, appointment scheduling and reminders, service updates and account notices.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes the text messaging providers that deliver our messages for us.

Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who help us run the business, such as our customer management, phone, text, email, scheduling and payment tools, and only to provide those services to us;
- with our UL-listed monitoring center, for monitored customers, so operators can respond to alarms;
- when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
Cameras and monitoring
Alarm monitoring means trained operators respond to alarm signals. No one watches your cameras unless you sign up in writing for live video monitoring.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above, for customer service records, and as required by law. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no system is completely secure.
